From a young age, I knew design was my calling. I won my first art award in senior kindergarten for a seahorse and fishes painting, and by 7, I was already creating and distributing mini-magazines on the playground. Teachers would often tell me I was “born to be a graphic designer,” and those words have guided me throughout my career.

As I moved into high school, I specialized in Communication Technology, winning multiple awards for my design, video, and technology projects. After high school, I pursued my passion at Sheridan College, earning an Advanced Diploma with Honours in Graphic Design. During my time in school, I secured an internship that exposed me to real-world design challenges, and one of my designs was publicly recognized by world-renowned graphic designer Aaron Draplin, who called me “one to watch” in the industry.

After graduation, I launched my freelance career and had the privilege of working with incredible companies across various industries, from government campaigns to branding initiatives. I believe my creativity, combined with my strong work ethic and collaborative spirit, allows me to consistently deliver designs that not only meet but exceed client expectations.

Currently, I’m working as a Senior Graphic Designer at Outcrop Communications, where I lead design projects for a diverse range of clients, including major government agencies and corporations. I’m passionate about producing work that makes a lasting impact, whether through digital campaigns, branding, or print design. My approach to design is rooted in a deep understanding of the client’s vision, and I take pride in turning complex ideas into clean, effective visual solutions.

When I’m not designing, I’m continuing to expand my creative toolkit, always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of design. Whether it’s through my side projects, professional development, or exploring other creative outlets, I’m always striving to evolve and refine my craft.

  • I am fully aware that some accounts on Instagram have decided to plagiarise my work. If you believe/know of a person who is doing this to my design work, please contact me directly and DO NOT support said person. Insanity design is the ORIGINAL creator of modern graffiti-surrealism design. The main pieces I’ve done that are being plagiarised are my “collage at the college” (Mohawk College, April, 2021), my illustration style (more specifically the surrealism melting. My illustration style can be seen here), and my logo (more specifically, the iris. My logo was done in 2019). After inspecting my website analytics, I fully believe this person is going to plagiarise my work again. It is honestly sad that self-proclaimed “designers” have decided to do this to me and my artwork. I truly wish that everyone could have original thoughts … but sometimes that isn’t the case. However, I have faith in the Universe and believe that this person will get their karma. Please be wary of “designers” in Toronto, ON and/or IG profiles who have those 3 designs showcased.
